The excitment and pagentry of Dixie Stampede is just one of the many fun things to do in Branson.
A March 17 online article entitled “Secrets of Branson” by Jake said, “The Branson area, 175 miles south of the Missouri state capital in Jefferson City, has something for virtually everyone!” Paul Miller, General Manager, Branson Tourism Center and a 13 year veteran in helping Branson visitors said “That’s what Branson is all about, everybody having fun.”
The article points out that Branson has it all from live entertainment, outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, horseback riding, biking, or water sports to fabulous dining, cruises and shopping. Miller is quick to point out that there are multiple choices available within each of the general choices mentioned in the article. As an example, he points out that the number and variety of shows on the “Official Branson.Com Show Schedule” would be the envy of destination cities much larger than Branson.
