BRANSON, Mo., February 21, 2014 — For the sixth straight year, America’s Purple Heart Recipients will be hosted and honored in Branson during Branson.Com Honors Purple Heart Recipients being held in Branson April 24th through the 26th. The sole purpose of the event is to specifically remember and honor the sacrifices of those who have been wounded in combat while defending our country and have received the Purple Heart as a result of that service. It is the only event of its type and is recognized and supported by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, a unique congressionally chartered Veteran Service Organization dedicated to serving those who have received the Purple Heart Medal as the result of the sacrifices they have made in the defense of their country.

“We are especially honored this year to be partnering with the College of the Ozarks on the first day of the event,” said Annette Wood, Director of Sales and Marketing, Branson Tourism Center, the parent company of Branson.Com. “It just seems like a perfect fit with the College’s values, patriotism and faithfulness in the remembering and honoring of our country’s Veterans representing so much of what the Recipients of the Purple Heart fought for,” she added. Woods encourages all Purple Heart Recipients to attend the event particularly those who have never attended before. “It is a special event, held for some very special people in a place and by people who honor and respect the sacrifices that Purple Heart Recipients and their families have made,” said Wood.

Wood points out all the event’s scheduled activities are free to the Purple Heart Recipients. From the opening ceremony at the college, hosted by Barbara Fairchild, to the closing ceremony at the Hamner Theatre hosted by Dave Hamner, Branson.Com Honors Purple Heart Recipients will honor and entertain the attendees while giving them plenty of free time to relax, enjoy camaraderie and fellowship with their fellow Recipients, shop and just experience all that Branson has to offer. How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
