“Shoji Tabuchi” - from the grand stage production to the opulent theater, this long-running Branson show puts a royal touch of elegance on everything! “Shoji” has been a Branson staple for decades and holds a place of honor on the list of can’t-miss Branson shows. The glorious production produced by Dorothy Tabuchi, the wife of everyone’s favorite Japanese violinist, is always stunning and includes a wide variety of music, from country to classical. Select dates feature Dorothy and their superbly talented daughter, Christina. Some of Branson’s best singers and dancers, and other uniquely fascinating performers, are backed up by a brilliant band. Costumes, makeup, stage sets - everything is carefully selected to ensure a performance that’s as captivating to look at as it is to hear.
“Shoji Tabuchi” is a spectacular show that’s nearly rivaled by the theater itself, a breathtaking display of palace-like opulence. Chandeliers, rich colors of purple and gold, and restrooms fit for kings and queens that are so lavish and such a popular visitor attraction in their own right, postcards picturing them are a gift shop favorite! The gorgeous ladies room is richly decorated in floral patterns, gilded mirrors, almost too pretty to sit on chairs, and elegant flower arrangements. The restroom created for gentlemen is awe-inspiring; ladies, be prepared to send in an attendant to retrieve your husband before he misses the show! There’s comfortable lounging areas and, believe it or not, a billiards table surrounding by a viewing area. These restroom attractions have even landed on lists of the world’s best bathrooms!
Few shows anywhere can rival the quality of production, the extravagance of the surroundings, and the exceptional musicianship found in Branson’s “Shoji Tabuchi” show!
