Christmas & Winter Fun in Branson

Branson MO Christmas Lights

Holiday music, the inviting aromas of holiday foods, the hustle and bustle of parties and shopping – Christmas is a wonderful time. And Christmas starts early in Branson! From the first of November through the end of the year, Branson is aglow with the enchantments of the season.

All the sights and sounds, all the scents and sensations of the holiday, can be found in this little corner of the Ozarks. Stages are filled with Christmas melodies, shopping options galore, delicious dining destinations – and a myriad of lodging choices guarantee you can rest comfortably at the end of a fun, event-filled day spent with family and friends.

The variety of Christmas shows is remarkable. Branson celebrates the true meaning of Christmas with favorite Christmas carols, hymns, and holiday fun. Many shows are family affairs: the Presleys, Duttons, and Hughes Brothers show. Shopping turns from frantic to delight here. Crisp winter days are perfect for strolling the shops in Historic Downtown Branson. Be sure to check out Dick’s 5 & 10 – with roughly 250,000 items; there is truly something for everyone! Wander down the hill to Branson Landing, on the banks of Lake Taneycomo. There are shops and restaurants along the boardwalk. If it’s a “sweater weather” day, you’ll enjoy dining on a terrace overlooking the lake to watch boats, ducks, and geese, the occasional eagle.

A delectable dinner and fabulous show at Dolly Parton’s Stampede is fun for everyone, especially at Christmas, with the “Living Nativity” (complete with donkeys, sheep, and camels!) and “Toys Come to Life.” You’ll find Christmas shows and countless kinds of food at Silver Dollar City; you’ll find Christmas shows, numerous types of food, a luminous Holiday Light Parade, a five-story special effects Christmas tree, and many shops.

The annual Adoration Parade is on Dec. 4, 2022, at dusk/5 p.m. and begins with lighting the most significant area nativity scene.

Branson celebrates military veterans daily, and Branson’s Veterans Homecoming Week is our country’s most prominent Veterans celebration; November Veterans Veterans Homecoming Week is our country’s most prominent Veterans celebration, Nov. 5-11. The Vietnam Memorial Wall’s opening ceremony is on November 7 at The Branson Hillside Theater. Other events include the  Annual Branson Veterans Day Parade on Nov. 11, 11 a.m.

How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
