Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill returns to Branson in July

BRANSON, MO, June 26, 2013 —  Where can you see a truly legendary show, hear Elvis sing, eat  ried pickles and experience a Celebrity Car Museum all at one place? When Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill officially opens for business, at a yet to be announced date this July, the answer is, “At the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater Complex located on the “World Famous 76 Strip.” Among many other menu items the grill “will offer a new menu and include classic signature items such as Almond Crusted Chicken Fingers, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and Fried Pickles.

Local Springfield/Branson businessman and philanthropist Jim D. Morris announced on June 25 that he has entered into an agreement with Dick Clark Productions to re-open Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill at the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater Complex which he purchased in 2011. In making the announcement Morris said the restaurant will be under the management and operation of a premier national restaurant management company and that he was ” delighted to have the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill re-open and pleased to see it restored to its original name, concept and design within the Bandstand Complex.”

Morris also said that the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater Complex…will continue its long-term relationship with the celebrated tribute artist production, Legends in Concert. “The strength of the ongoing partnership with Legends in Concert and Dick Clark Productions was instrumental in the decision to bring the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill back to Branson,” he added.

Liz Morentin, Vice President of Corporate Communications, for Dick Clark Productions said, “Jim D. Morris is a terrific partner and we look forward to having Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill re-open in Branson. Our team has handpicked many unique, one of a kind memorabilia items from our archives to decorate the restaurant and to enhance the current collection of pop culture items in the theater lobby. The collection will be unveiled at the Grill opening.”

Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater Complex is “an integrated entertainment and hospitality destination” with a state of the art theatre which is the home of the Bretts and Legends in Concert shows, a Celebrity Car Museum, the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill and an adjacent 500 room Ramada Inn. Legends in Concert General Manager, Jeannie Horton said, “We are elated to have the Grill re-opening here in Branson.” She said that it’s the perfect enhancement for their guests to have options where they can park their car, enjoy a truly unique dining experience at the Grill, peruse the expanded museum quality memorabilia in the theater lobby, see the Celebrity Car Museum and top it off by seeing the award-winning Legends in Concert show without ever leaving the Complex.
