Information received from the city of Branson indicates that the Branson Public Works Department will be performing “maintenance on city streets throughout the month of November, 2014. The work will begin on Tuesday, November 18 and could run up to 30 days, depending on the weather. Work crews will be filling cracks in city streets including some key intersections in Branson.  Slight delays may be experienced by drivers through these construction zones.

“Please be aware of traffic cones and construction workers.  Affected streets include:

1.  Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (from Roark Valley Road to Brookside Mini-Golf)

2. Gretna Road (Roark Valley Rd. Bridge to Highway 76)

3. Wildwood Loop (north of Gretna, by the White House Theater and Adventure Zip line)

4. Roark Valley Road (from Highway 76 to Truman Dr.)”

“Although only during daylight hours, the maintenance will impact two of Branson’s major colored routes, the ‘Red’ (Gretna Road) and ‘Blue’ (Roak Valley Road) routes and have the potential to cause slight delays,'” said Annette Wood, the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Branson Tourism Center. She points out that the work will have no impact on the ‘Yellow’ route (Fall Creek and James Epps Roads) except, possibly, its intersection with Roark Valley Road.

The approximate beginning and end of each stretch involved and the Wildwood Loop have been marked on the map illustrating this article with the corresponding number listed above. The Wildwood Loop, #3, loops north from Gretna Road by the White House Theater and Adventure Zip line. Drivers are advised to be alert for workers and to allow a little extra time when traveling through these construction zones.

How do we compare?

When comparing prices between different web sites, please make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Most web sites display individual prices before taxes and hidden fees, which they surprise you with at the last step in the check out process. And when you see a package price on our web site, it is the total price for all people in your party (not per person).

In many cases, when comparing our price to the total price including taxes and any hidden fees that you might get charged on other web sites, our prices will be lower. To learn more and to make sure that you are getting the best deal on your Branson vacation, please call us toll-free at:
