November 1, Branson turns into America’s Christmas Tree City! Tinsel, lights, and ornaments cover the entire town, and you have to be here for it! There’s no better way to celebrate Christmas than to celebrate it for two months, right?
Now that Christmas has started in Branson, there are tons of new shows, light trails and more across town. 1. See ALL the Christmas Shows
If you know Branson, you know Christmas shows are a BIG deal! 2. Drive through ALL the Christmas Light Trails
One of the best ways to enjoy the Christmas Lights is from the warmth of your car with a hot cocoa in hand, listening along to the Christmas radio station! Branson has plenty of drive-through light displays for you to enjoy this holiday season. Check out the Branson’s Promised Land Zoo Let There Be Lights, Branson’s Gift of Lights, and Shepherd of the Hills’ Trail of Lights!
3. Attend Winter Wonderland at Still Waters Resort
Come see Still Waters Resort turn into a Winter Wonderland this holiday season! Kids can come and play on giant Christmas inflatables, dash through the Winter Toboggan Ride, climb the Polar Bear Slide, find the Cabin in the Show, bounce in the bounce house, and so much more! Pictures with Santa are on Saturday’s only. The park is open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 AM – 5 PM for $5 a person, free for children under 3 as well as resort guests. The festival lasts all the way through December 29!
4. Check out First Friday in Liberty Plaza
On November 1, come visit Liberty Plaza to see the Major conduct a Tree Light Ceremony in the evening. Enjoy the carolers, hot cocoa and treats that will all be provided to the community!
5. Visit Branson Landing’s Winter Wonderland-ing
Come visit the Branson Landing starting on November 1st to see it completely transformed into a Winter Wonderland-ing! Enjoy your favorite stores, water and fire display, and dining, with an extra dash of joy and Christmas!
6. Explore An Old Time Christmas at Silver Dollar City
This year, An Old Time Christmas is going to be brighter than ever! With a total of 6.5 million lights throughout the park, Silver Dollar City has added an 8-story tall Christmas Tree, completely covered in LED lights for an amazing display all night long! This year’s festival presents “Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade” led by the most famous reindeer of all, with musical lighted floats and dozens of costumed characters. Plus, don’t miss out on the new holiday foods every November and December! Get your tickets here!
7. Cruise on Santa’s Pancakes and PJs Cruise
Every Saturday and Sunday starting November 9 and lasting until December 21, join Santa & His Helpers, Rudolph, the North Pole Toy Soldier, and the Holiday Sugar Plum Fairies aboard the Showboat Branson Belle for an adventure complete with kid’s activities, entertainment, breakfast, and a cruise along Table Rock Lake. Take a photo with Rudolph, search for the Sugar Plum Fairy Sweet Stops, and put your own Christmas Wish List right inside the Toy Soldiers Mail Box for immediate delivery to Santa! 8. Sip at the Wine and Shine Fest 2019
Enjoy the fall weather during this all-day event hosted by the Copper Run Distillery and Bear Creek Wine Co. just north of Branson – for free admission! There will be live music at both venues with free and convenient shuttles to transport you between each venue. Great wine, moonshine, and an opportunity to hear tons of great local bands, as well as plenty of complimentary tastings.
9. Enjoy Thanksgiving Brunch
One of the few restaurants open on Thanksgiving in Branson, MO, enjoy the beautiful College of the Ozarks while celebrating Thanksgiving with your loved ones. There are a variety of presentations including personalized omelets and waffles, a beautiful ice sculpture and hand-cut season fruits, cheese, and made to order salads; original seafood creations and carved smoked ham; sweets and dessert at the Bakeshop; and a special menu featuring roast prime rib and smoked ham alongside other accompaniments! Brunch is $40/adult and $20 for 6-12 year olds. You must call to make reservations!
10. Run the Branson Turkey Trot
Brought to you by the Ozarks Running Club, join the community of Branson on Thanksgiving morning to run the Annual Turkey Trot.
