  1. Pour the pineapple in the bottom of a 9×13 dish.
  2. Add the cherry pie filling.
  3. Crumb the cake mix over this.
  4. Pour the butter evenly over.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top.
  6. Bake 45 minutes at 325 to 350.
Recipe Notes

A dollop of ice cream or whipped cream on the top while it’s warm makes a great addition. You can vary up the pie filling if you wish. Also, you may consider drizzling caramel or chocolate sauce over it.
