If you love seeing spectacular views of the Ozarks, you won't want to miss the Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante Extreme ZipRider during your stay in Branson. With its chair-style system and automatic braking features, the ZipRider is one of the easiest and most enjoyable zipline experiences in town.

This zipline is available during the spring, summer, and fall, and it may be available at some times in winter. To operate safely, temperatures must be above 50 degrees. Before you ride the ZipRider, you'll need to sign a release form, and you must meet height and weight requirements.

What Is the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider at Shepherd of the Hills?

During the ZipRider experience, you'll glide through the treetops at up to 55 mph. While other zipline activities involve strapping on a harness, the ZipRider uses a chair system that enables you to enjoy the ride from a seated position. An automatic braking system is included, so you won't need to worry about operating controls during your ride.

You'll find the ZipRider inside the Shepherd of the Hills Adventure Park. It's located at 5586 W 76 Country Blvd.

When Can I Use the ZipRider?

Generally, the ZipRider is open in spring, summer, and fall. Depending on the weather, it may be open on some dates in late winter, but there are no rides in November or December.

Usually, the ZipRider runs from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m., and the last rides will begin at 3 p.m.

For safety reasons, wear shoes with closed toes, and make sure that they are secure on your feet. If you're wearing sneakers, your shoelaces must be tied. Flip-flops and other open-toed shoes are not allowed on the ZipRider.
