The Downtown Streetscape Project was designed to enhance the Branson downtown experience while preserving the area’s historic charm and character. We’re excited to share that the project is complete, with construction finishing in 2025 and downtown visitors now enjoying the improvements.
Downtown Construction Is Finished
The final phase of the Downtown Streetscape Project began on April 1, 2025, and was completed in October 2025. Work was completed in two main phases:
Phase 1 (April – Early June 2025): COMPLETED
Veterans Blvd to Commercial Street
Phase 2 (June – October 2025): COMPLETED
Commercial Street to Sycamore Street
What Was Completed?
The project brought a variety of upgrades designed to improve safety, accessibility, and the overall downtown experience, including:
✔ New sidewalks and pedestrian-friendly pathways
✔ Foundations and installation areas for updated lighting
✔ Decorative seat walls and gathering spaces
✔ New water lines, stormwater boxes, and underground electrical systems
✔ Wider sidewalks and improved crosswalks
✔ Retro-style lighting and refreshed landscaping
✔ Enhanced utility systems built to support Downtown Branson’s future
Shop, Dine & Stroll Downtown
Downtown Branson is open and ready to welcome visitors! Local businesses remained accessible throughout construction, and the completed streetscape improvements now provide an even better place to shop, dine, explore, and enjoy everything downtown has to offer!
