The City of Branson, known as the "Live Entertainment Capital of the World" is in the heart of the Tri-Lakes region, built along the bank of the old White River, which has now become Lake Taneycomo. Located 35 miles south of Springfield, Missouri on U.S. Highway 65, it is within minutes of either Table Rock Lake or Bull Shoals Lake.
