Whether by boat, car, or from the comfort of a lawn chair — hundreds gather to witness fireworks illuminating the skies over Table Rock Lake!
Branson Landing Fireworks in Branson
July 3 – If there is a “main event” in Branson, it’s the Branson Landing Liberty Light Up!
This is the downtown show on Lake Taneycomo, and it’s usually the most heavily attended. Expect a full evening experience: live music, crowds along the boardwalk, and fireworks launched over the water around late evening (typically near 9:30 PM).
It’s a busy, energetic setting that tends to build throughout the evening. Most people arrive early to get a good spot and stay put for the duration. If you prefer a lively crowd and being close to the center of the activity, this is the location where the event is most concentrated.

Table Rock Lake shows: Big Cedar Lodge & Top of the Rock
July 4 – Big Cedar Lodge and Top of the Rock typically host fireworks that are less about crowds and more about scenery. These shows launch over Table Rock Lake with the Ozark hills in the background, and they’re widely considered the most visually striking in the area!
The experience changes depending on how you watch it:
- From the shoreline or overlooks: calmer, more spread out
- From a boat: the most immersive way to see it, with reflections on the water
- From lodging nearby: quieter, but still with full visibility in many cases
