Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats
  1. In a large pot, melt butter and add marshmallows. Stir until melted.
  2. Add a few drops of the green food coloring and stir until it all turns green. Add the Rice Krispies cereal ( a little at a time ) and stir to combine.
  3. Pour the green gooey cereal mixture into a buttered 9x13 pan, flatten and allow to cool for about 30 minutes. *Might want to butter your hands as well before you handle the mixture to avoid sticking.
  4. When it is cooled and firm, remove from pan and cut into squares (about the size of a deck of cards)
  5. Melt chocolate according to the package directions. If using the microwave, do it in short bursts, 10 or 20 seconds at a time always stirring before putting it back in.
  6. Dip the tops of the rice treats in the chocolate to looks like Frankenstein's hair. place on a sheet of parchment paper.
  7. Fill a pastry bag or ziplock bag with some of the melted chocolate, snip off the end of the bag and pipe on the mouth & eyes onto the Franken-treats, topping the chocolate eyes with candy eyes while it is still melted. Let the chocolate cool until it has hardened.

Pretzel Candy Spiderwebs
  1. Take an 8" bowl to trace circles onto parchment paper. Cut out & place circles on cookie sheets and arrange 8 pretzel sticks on each, touching in the center & radiating outwards.
  2. Melt the candy coating according to package directions. Stir until smooth and transfer to a pastry bag or zip-lock plastic bag. Snip the corner of the bag and pipe a flat circle in the center of the pretzels where they meet.
  3. Starting with the center and working outwards, make a spiraling line across the pretzels until they look like spider webs. Make sure you leave the outer tips of the pretzels uncovered. Pipe over the outermost ring several times in order to make it thicker which will give the sprinkles a place to adhere.
    Pretzel Spider Webs
  4. Carefully pour sprinkles over the thick outer ring of the spiderweb.
  5. If you still have some of the melted chocolate from the Franken-treats left, put a little chocolate spider in the middle of the web.
  6. Place in refrigerator and allow webs to set for several hours before trying to eat or move to a serving platter.
