“Branson Scenic Railway” is the perfect way to enjoy an exciting Branson attraction that’s also relaxing and nostalgic! Experience the charm and romance of unique, vintage railroad cars all carefully refurbished to give you the comfortable first-class ride enjoyed by passengers fifty years ago. These classic cars date from the late 30’s to the early 60’s and include three domed cars that allow for a panoramic view of the countryside. And, you never know which of the two trips you’ll embark on until just before departure time; the southern route into Arkansas or the Northern route in Missouri; both excursions are one hour and 45 minutes. Because this railroad is also used commercially, the Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad will let “Branson Scenic Railway” know which route is available, adding a little intrigue to your train adventure! Either way, you’ll see wildlife in their natural habitats, the ruins of small communities long ago abandoned, and more sights not accessible by other forms of transportation. Seats are not assigned, so you can roam about and explore the train as you travel across the Ozarks, through tunnels, and over trestles, listening to lively narration of the railroad’s Branson history, and fun facts about the things you’ll see! There’s both a scenic tour and a romantic candlelight dinner train; the dinner train is a longer excursion at two hours and 15 minutes.
Whether you take a scenic tour or hop aboard the dinner train, it’s sure to be a memorable experience for you and your family aboard the “Branson Scenic Railway!”
The dinner train entree choices are Prime Rib, One Half Rotisserie Chicken, or Baked Fish, served with roasted red potatoes, vegetable medley, Caesar salad, crudités, and black & white cake, served with water, ice tea, hot tea or coffee. A vegetarian meal is available, it includes an entree, potato, side vegetable, salad, crudités, and black & white cake, served with water, ice tea, hot tea or coffee. Menu items are subject to change.
(NOTE: Arrive at least 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Customers in wheelchairs or with other special needs will board the train first. Due to the vintage nature of Branson Scenic Railway’s cars, handicapped seating is very limited, and wheelchairs must be 25" or less.)
