Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru

The Lights of Joy are brand new for 2021. Their entrance is located at Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Expressway Lane. Lights of Joy opens to families, limousines, church & school buses, and motor coaches. A light drive-through stretches for one and a half miles and is lined on both sides with hundreds of displays.

Shepherd of the Hills / The Trail of Lights

Branson’s longest-running and favorite drive-thru are celebrating over 30 years! The 160-acre Shepherd of the Hills Homestead is filled with Christmas lights, themed and animated displays, and millions of multicolored lights. Enjoy a hot chocolate at our Snack Shack.

 Shepherd of the Hills / North Pole Adventure

NEW THIS YEAR! Visit and take photos of the real-live reindeer at the Stardust Stables.  See the real reindeer that came from the North Pole. Experience a magical walk through thousands of twinkling lights. Ride Rudolph’s Hayride, and visit Santa’s reindeer. *Please note: Guests are only welcome to look at reindeer.

Promised Land ZOO / Branson Let There Be Lights Drive-Thru

The duration of drive-through light displays varies. Drive at your own pace! Candyland Courtyard is a place where you can spend as much time as you want. Santa’s Safari VIP tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and departs from Candyland Courtyard at the booked time. Please park in the parking lot and walk to the Gift Shop area to load onto the Safari Bus.

Silver Dollar City / An Old Time Christmas

Christmas in midtown: As you stroll through the center of Silver Dollar City, between Valley Woodcarvers and the Wilderness Road Blacksmith Shop, you will be in awe of the single largest lighting expansion over the past two decades of An Old Time Christmas®. This incredible addition features 1.5 million twinkling lights.

A Dickens’ Christmas Carol: Silver Dollar City’s beloved Broadway production returns to the Opera House this holiday season with an all-new musical score! This 60-minute show tells a story of redemption, hope, and the transformational power of prayer through an original musical adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic.

Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade: This joyous musical procession includes nine illuminated floats and 45 costumed characters as the grand marshal, Rudolph the Red-Nosed ReindeerTM. A Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade occurs at least twice a night during An Old Time Christmas, weather permitting.

Big Cedar Lodge / Home for the Holidays

Holiday Light Tour: Take in over 1 million spectacular Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Reservations required. Santa invites guests at Big Cedar to join him for a special breakfast! Plus, decorate a stocking while enjoying your meal. Stockings are complimentary for guests attending Breakfast with Santa; otherwise, they are $15 per stocking. Breakfast with Santa: EVERY DECEMBER SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

Elf Visits: The elves love to read bedtime stories, collect letters to Santa, and deliver special Big Cedar stockings full of goodies.’

Elves Winter Workshop: The kids are sure to have a blast decorating their own Christmas ornaments, watching popular holiday flicks, and enjoying hot chocolate.

Gingerbread Build off: Gingerbread houses will be displayed at Fun Mountain until 10:00 am the following day for guests to choose a winner!

Tree Lighting Ceremony: Join us as we light up our Big Cedar Christmas tree each Saturday in December through the 21st and also on December 24. Santa will stop at the event every week, and one special child will get to light the Christmas tree with him.

Santa Visits:  Each child will receive a special gift and have the opportunity to take their photo with Santa as well.

Downtown Branson

Christmas lights and wreaths abound in Branson’s downtown area. There is nothing better than taking a romantic carriage ride through the streets to witness the lights or taking a stroll down the sidewalk to see the displays in the storefronts. Look for the tree on top of the P. Graham Dunn building.

Branson Landing’s spectacular light and water show at the big fountain is also worth seeing. During the Landing’s open hours, shows are held every hour at the top of the hour.

The Polar Express Train Ride

Riding the Branson Scenic Railway, you will be immersed in the classic 1985 holiday story of the Polar Express. In 1985, Van Allsburg wrote one of the most beloved Christmas stories, The Polar Express. A computer-animated film based on the novel released in 2004. The Polar Express is brought to life by Branson Scenic Railway every year during the Christmas season.  Get your tickets here.

Branson Ferris Wheel

An electrifying display of Christmas lights and music is every evening from 6 to 10 pm on Hwy 76 in Branson until January 2.
