A Guide to the Copperhead Roller Coaster

The Copperhead Mountain Coaster is one of the newest roller coasters at Shepherd's Adventure Park. Opened in 2021, the Copperhead Mountain Coaster features a fast, scenic ride with lots of loops, curves, and drops. At night, the coaster is lit with thousands of LED lights, and day rides offer spectacular views of the Ozark Mountains.

The Copperhead Mountain Coaster has a downhill track of more than 3,350 feet, making it the coaster with the longest downhill portion in Branson. It boasts advanced safety features, including an advanced braking system. The Slither & Slide, the Venomous Twists, the Lurking Curve, the Construction Loop, and the Big Strike are some of the most thrilling sections of the track.

To use the coaster, you sit in a cart that can hold one or two people. One person must drive the cart, and the other person is the passenger. The cart driver controls the cart's speed and how far it is from other carts. The driver also needs to stop the cart at the finish line. The ride is appropriate for users who are at least 3 years of age.

Before you ride the coaster, you'll need to fill out a waiver form. If you have health problems, you should not ride. Cart drivers must be at least 54 inches tall, and children under 16 must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian. Depending on weather conditions, the cart weight limit is between 330 to 375 pounds.

Your pockets must be empty when you ride the Copperhead Mountain Coaster, and you should not bring cellphones, cameras, or other loose objects with you. If you wear glasses, make sure that they are secure before you start the ride. You aren't allowed to wear flip-flops or shoes with open heels on the ride. Make sure that your shoelaces are tied when you board.

If you want to ride the coaster more than once, you'll need to pay a fee each time you ride. If you have any questions about how to operate the cart, ask the gate staff before you get in line for the ride.
